North Country Ecological Services, Inc. Professional Staff

Stephen P. George is the President of NCES, and has over 15 years of professional experience in the environmental field. He has been involved, on an administrative as well as hands-on level, with wetland delineation, wetland mitigation engineering, compliance reports, environmental impact statements, phase I site liability assessments, water and soil sampling and analysis, endangered species investigation throughout New York State, and state and federal environmental permitting. Mr. George has an intimate knowledge of the regulations concerning state and federal wetland and permits. He is one of the founding members of the New York State Wetlands Forum.
Mr. George is also a published researcher.

Thomas M. Ward is an assistant ecologist with NCES and has over five years of professional experience in the environmental field. He has conducted biological surveys in various terrestrial and aquatic habitats. He has experience performing environmental site assessments on industrial, commercial and residential properties throughout the United States, soil and water sampling and analysis, and wetlands investigation. Mr. Ward was employed by the NYS DEC as a wetlands specialist and he has a working knowledge of environmental regulations regarding wetlands, environmental analysis, and wetland permitting.
